Café Associate

Position Summary

We need full time food service workers who have demonstrated a passion for serving customers and preparing food, who will contribute something new and unique to our cafe through their diversity, experience, personality, and talents. We seek employees who will fit into the unique family and friends culture of our owner operated bakery cafe. We work hard when at work - our customers expect it. We value family and understand that as dedicated as any employee might be, they still have a family and personal life which must be understood and accommodated in order to have a peak performing employee, realizing that not all family circumstances can be compatible with a restaurant worker's responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Greets all customers in a warm, sincere, and helpful manner
• Takes orders and serves meals and beverages promptly and courteously
• Operates the complete POS system and other required software
• Accepts responsibility and accountability for his or her money drawer
• Ensures that work areas are clean and that equipment, tools, and supplies are properly stored
• Complies with and enforces all safety policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Must be able to work various shifts per week and be available weekdays and weekends.
• No experience required.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must have reliable transportation.
