Specifically we are seeking a Full Time, Hourly Stocking/Receiving Supervisor in our Kennesaw, GA store.  This position requires a flexible schedule to include Early Mornings (as early as 4am), weekends, and holidays. This position is responsible for supervising the Stocking and Receiving functions to include, unloading trucks, receiving the merchandise, preprocessing/ticketing all merchandise, maintaining an organized backroom, Merchandise execution/stocking, Seasonal Merchandise changes, inventory control functions, maintaining a safe and productive shift, fixture building, Training/Coaching Associates, customer interaction, etc.

 
Key Responsibilities:

 
    Assigning and performing stocking activities following established stocking priorities, stocking standards and stocking plans.
    Calculating and analyzing productivity results to evaluate stocking performance; recommending and executing action plans to ensure achievement of stocking objectives.
    Directing and performing merchandise pre-processing activities to prepare product for stocking on the sales floor.
    Overseeing and assisting with fixture and selling space preparation to facilitate execution of stocking plans and presentation standards.
    Guiding and participating in the organization of merchandise on the sales floor; ensuring replenishment of shelf stock from overhead valences and display shelves.
    Performing other merchandise processing, merchandise presentation, and supervisory duties as needed.
    Leads and supports the truck unload process weekly to ensure safe and timely unload of product, and upholds company standards in merchandise receipt.
    Leads and supports the accurate and timely ticketing of product per company guidelines.
    Interacts with Vendors and performs inventory control functions
    Responsible for Customer Pickup process
    Upholds housekeeping standards throughout facility
    Monitors building security and provides emergency response as needed
    Supports and facilitates training and development of associates

Requirements:

-      1-2 years Retail Supervisory experience w/an emphasis on Stocking and/or Receiving

-      Effective communication skills (verbal and written)

-     Ability to read and interpret documents and reports

-     Computer skills (Word, Excel, Email, and Time keeping)

-     Physical demands while performing the duties of this job include: standing, walking, hearing, talking, bending, lifting, unloading trucks, use of Pallet Jacks, Safety Knife, Compactor, and Ladders, regularly move/lift up to 50 pounds.
