Job Summary - Assists pharmacist(s) in all areas of pharmacy operations, including prescription preparation, sales transactions, customer service, and purchasing and inventory maintenance.
Qualifications
EDUCATION: High school graduation or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE: 6 months pharmacy technician experience in a retail setting or equivalent training.
LICENSE/CERT/REG: Must have successfully completed the pharmacy technician certification through the nationally accredited certification examination of PTCB. Pharmacy technician licensure or registration as required by the state where the pharmacy is located.
SKILLS: Basic computer skills. Basic math skills. Verbal and written communication skills.
