Valid driver's license

Access to an insured, registered & inspected vehicle

Good verbal and written communication skills.

The ability to initiate and maintain positive, supportive interactions with individuals served.

Critical thinking skills are essential 

Assist with cooking, cleaning, shopping

Justice Resource Institute- Supports To er People (JRI/STEP) is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to become a part of our unique team.

JRI/STEP supports men who have intellectual/developmental and clinical challenges, in their homes and communities.

These individuals have a variety of interests, which include employment, volunteering, sports and recreational activities, as well as, activities of daily living. 

We are seeking professionals who are able to be active problem solvers, who take initiative and possess a positive attitude. DSPs coach, advocate, mentor, and teach  in a caring and respectful manner. It is the responsibility of the support professional to help each man to fully enjoy and pursue his life.

Successful completion of paid training is required, in addition to: a valid driver's license, & access to a registered, inspected, and insured vehicle.

We offer a variety of trainings and professional growth opportunities.

1st  & 2nd shifts available. 3rd shifts available after fully trained. ALL positions include some weekend hours
