These Clinical Assistants will be working in the Ear, Nose & Throat clinic. Duties will include assisting their assigned physician, rooming patients, taking vitals, running labs, performing patient education, documenting patient records into their EMR system (ALLMeds) and maintaining front desk help when/if necessary. Work Environment: Teamwork is huge. 2-3 Clinical Assistants assist one provider and follow that provider to each locations they work. There is opportunity for cross training between the ENT, Allergy & Asthma, and Facial Plastics departments down the road. It is a 29 person team with 9 physicians and is physician owned. M-F 8-5 with one physician who does occasional late clinic until 7 on some Mondays, but it is not consistent. These are hours that are often time fought over because night clinic is so fun. They get to run a lot of labs on night shift.

The Clinical Assistants will follow their providers to their locations, often times working out of 2-3 different locations throughout the week. This will be a set schedule when they get assigned their physician, but all Clinical Assistants are required to have availability to work out of all 4 locations should they need to step in or pick up hours.

Qualifications: Medical Assistant degree from an accredited school
Must be Certified (cannot accept just registered)
40 WPM
Valid driver's license
6 months experience. Will take entry level candidates, just need to be ok with work schedule, all locations (Woodbury, Eagan, Maplewood, & Burnsville), and be certified.
Performance Expectations: This clinical assistant will be expected to show initiative by being proactive and prepping charts so they know what is coming in when they get busy. They will need to work efficiently on a team. Critical thinking is huge. They provide a 6 week orientation process wherein the contractor will work with a mentor for the 6 weeks to become trained and oriented.

1st Day Requirements:
Meet team and mentor and begin 6 week orientation. First 2 days are a lot of HR paperwork/on-boarding.
