About this job
This Production Operator position involves operating multiple highly automated machines/processes at a time with a strong attention to detail and utilizing time management and multitasking skills, monitoring machine progress with various machines being at different stages of the process.
The environment itself is indoors, ventilated and climate controlled cleanroom, but due to the PPE requirements, operators may get hot/sweaty. PPE includes hooded cleanroom suit with hairnet, safety glasses, face mask, and latex gloves. Some exposure to fairly hazardous chemicals will be involved.
It is routinely required to lift and manipulate 25 lb. boxes of material throughout the day, loading and unloading the machinery.
Must be able to stand or be walking for extended periods of time and able to work a 12-hour shift.
Basic math and computer skills are also necessary, including being able to read and analyze data output on various computer screens, along with general proficiency with email and Microsoft Excel. .
Must be organized, willing and ready to learn and be trained, and able to work well with others as part of a team.
This is a 12-hour Day Shift position, 6am to 6pm, on a compressed workweek schedule, with required work every other weekend and overtime as needed.
