*This Full Time YEAR ROUND position is for NIGHT shifts.  However, candidates must flexible and able to work day shifts when needed.

The Transportation Lead transports guests and equipment around the resort and, occasionally, outlying areas via bus, shuttle, or other company vehicle. This position works closely with other departments to maintain fleet vehicles, operate heavy equipment, clear snow and debris from roadways, pathways, stairwells, etc. Leads direct traffic and assist all resort staff to maintain smooth operations. 

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Train, coach and often supervise new and current staff. Set the example fulfilling all transportation specific job duties as well as cross training in multiple departments providing assistance and guidance.
  • Responsible for minor maintenance to keep fleet and operation running smoothly
  • Meet with guests and employees to follow-up on complaints, incidents, and/or accidents
  • Attend occasional meetings as a transportation liaison for the resort
  • Excel in the performance of all job duties of am Intermediate Driver and Dispatcher
  • Extremely familiar with all resort amenities and layout

  • Responsible for evening shifts

 

Job Qualifications:

 

  • Hold and maintain a current Colorado Class A or B license with P2 and airbrake endorsements - required
  • Clean driving record - preferred
  • Previous supervisory experience - preferred
  • Exemplary guest service and communication skills - required
  • Basic computer skills - required
  • Experience with Keystone Transportation - strongly preferred
  • Experience with a mass transit system - required
  • Able and willing to work a flexible schedule, as needed - required
