Job Description

The Culinary team at Walt Disney World Resort creates unforgettable dining experiences for guests from around the world. Here, you can use your skills in our fast-paced environment in areas ranging from catering to fine dining, and pastry to special events. No matter your role, you'll work alongside world-renowned Chefs to take any dining occasion or celebration to the next level.

Culinary roles receive a starting rate of $11.40/hour.

This seasonal role requires full availability for any shift, including nights, weekends and holidays from late August through November 20, 2017.

This seasonal role requires reliable transportation so you can have *full availability for any shift, including nights, weekends and holidays from late August through November 20, 2017. Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and some shifts may start as early as 5:00am while some may end as late as 3:00am, 4:00am or 5:00am.

* Culinary Students there is a possibility of scheduling your work shift around your class schedule, please discuss with your recruiter.

Basic Qualifications

Recipe for Success

* Perform consistent production and presentation of well-prepared, flavorful food while ensuring the highest sanitation standards (HACCP -- Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) and exceptional guest service

* Able to understand the importance of and follow a recipe, including identify various food products, dairy, meats and produce

* Demonstrate good judgment of quantity, quality and production

* Knowledge and basic understanding of basic temperatures, food safety and proper food handling

* Display proficient knife skills and knowledge of basic cuts

* Possess passion for the culinary arts and desire to learn more in the Food & Beverage industry

* Able to stand/walk for the entire shift, lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a variety of locations including indoors and outdoors
