Medical Assistant

Aerotek is currently hiring for a Certified Medical Assistant. This is a contract role, and is a great opportunity for great experience with a great company!

Candidates will be responsible for supporting physicians in a primary care concierge medical practice with professional service, excellent patient care, and engaged support to both the clinical and management teams.

Summary of Job Duties:

* Supporting the physicians by providing clinical and administrative assistance
* Obtaining patient histories and medical information
* Triaging and assessing client health concerns to determine appropriate response
* Assessing and reporting vital signs and measurements; collecting specimens
* Performing phlebotomy tasks
* Preparing patients for continuing care after treatment.
* Providing patient education for scheduled procedures and self administration of medication
* Scheduling and keeping track of appointments
* Preparing examination rooms; setting up and maintaining medical equipment and supplies
* Tracking and documenting patient status following sick visits
* Managing electronic and faxed prescription refill requests
* Scanning documents to patient charts
* Maintaining examination room inventory and replenishing as needed
* Maintaining a safe and clean working environment by implementing and monitoring procedures, rules, and regulations

Job Requirements:

• At least two years experience as a Medical Assistant
• Strong Computer skills
