Job responsibilities:
- Must have experience using a straight and butterfly needle
- Typical day consists of performing routine blood drawing procedures, including venipuncture and finger sticks.
- Responsible for processing and shipping of samples
- Monitoring the supply inventory to ensure consumables are always stocked
- Ability to make customers comfortable with the service provided
- Typical stick average of 15-30 per day
Qualifications:
- At least 1-2 years of Phlebotomy experience is required, should be current within the last 6 months
- Phlebotomy certification is a plus but not required
- Must have high school diploma or GED
- Must be willing to submit to a drug and background check
Performance:
- Must be computer literate and have data entry experience
- Person will be evaluated throughout their contract period based on personality, customer service skills, and ability to successfully draw blood the 1st time.
- Permanency is based on performance and availability in the department.
Contract Type:
- 3 Month Contract
- Working hours are 8am-5pm Monday through Thursday and Friday 8am-12pm
