Objective:

The On-Call Staffing Coordinator is expected to perform a variety of duties in the coordination of scheduling service for clients. The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for scheduling clients and CAREGivers in order to provide the highest quality service to clients.
For the part-time/on-call position, the schedule, initially, would be every Thursday, one weekend per month and holidays. There may also be an opportunity for some office hours and potentially, more on-call in the future.

This employee would handle the duties listed below, as necessary, after hours, should there be added hours for a client or a call-out from a CAREgiver. 



Primary Responsibilities:

• Reflect the values of T & T Enterprise, (d.b.a. an independently owned and operated Home Instead Senior Care franchise)

• Answer each incoming call in a friendly, professional and knowledgeable manner

• Field new clients by obtaining name and phone number transferring to Home Care Consultant

• Coordinate CAREGiver schedules on a daily basis

• Continually update client Care plans as their needs change, as well as communicate this information to all caregivers working the case.

• Monitor, mediate, and log both client and CAREGiver activity and follow up on CAREGiver assignments and client service

• Coordinate and maintain monthly client schedules in ClearCare

• Enter and maintain accurate client and CAREGiver records in ClearCare

• Maintain regular attendance at the office to execute job responsibilities

• Demonstrate open and effective communication with owner, colleagues and CAREGivers

 

Education/Experience Requirements:

• High school graduation or the equivalent

• Proficient with computers and ability to learn new software​​​​​​​

• Two years of related business experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered

• Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• This position must have an understanding of and uphold the policies and procedures established by T & T Enterprise, (d.b.a. an independently owned and operated Home Instead Senior Care franchise)

• This position must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to listen effectively

• This position must have the ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality of information and meet deadlines

• Ability to demonstrate effective interpersonal skills essential as well as sound judgment and good decision-making skills

• Must demonstrate discretion, integrity and fair-mindedness consistent with company standards, practices, policies and procedures

• Ability to organize and prioritize daily, monthly and yearly work

• Ability to establish good working relationships with management, colleagues, clients and CAREGivers

• Ability to sit at a desk and listen effectively for long periods of time on the telephone

• Ability to present a professional appearance and demeanor

• Ability to operate office equipment

• Must be patient and congenial on the telephone

• Must have computer skills and be proficient in Word and Excel

• Ability to work evenings and weekends as required

• Ability to perform duties in a professional office setting if needed

• Knowledge of the senior care industry
