Firestone Building Products is excited to announce its move of the U.S. headquarters to Nashville, Tennessee in 2017. This position will require relocation at that time.

We have an immediate need for a Regional Technical Manager. The Regional Technical Manager is responsible for managing and directing all field service activities of 7-12 field personnel in a defined geographical area and operating attwo different levels of expertise. This position will relocate to Nashville, TN in the Fall of 2017.

These activities include roofing system installation evaluation, roofing system problem troubleshooting, and training on proper installation techniques for Firestone and GenFlex Roofing systems.Serving both Firestone and GenFlex licensed contractors, sales reps organizations, building owners, architects and design professionals. Incumbents must have an extensive background in building codes and understand the relationship of other construction trades (HVAC, electrical, concrete, plumbing and steel) and their impact on the roofing system. The Regional Technical Manager must be able to understand the interaction of buildingcomponents and perform troubleshooting analysis of those components. This position is responsible for negotiatingsettlements between contractors, building owners, design professionals, and consultants on pre-warranty installation and warranted roofing system problems. The Regional Technical Manager is also responsible for assuring the accuracy of field technical decisions.

• Bachelors degree in Construction Management or related field
• Proficient in MS Office
• Minimumof 8 years progressive experience in the roofing or construction industry including supervisory and administrative experience
• Candidate must reside or be willing to relocate to Nashville, TN
