ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

 

  • Door Guard position is expected to enforce company policies and ensure the safety of customer/associates

  • Verify customer ID's at the door exits.

  • Identify any suspicious activity ~ internal or external to the store operations.

  • Enforce all safety policies and procedures.

  • Provide customer service with a smile at all times.

  • Assumes a high degree of accountability for delivering the highest quality of customer/security services possible.

  • Operates and maintains in a state of readiness all equipment assigned.

  • Performs duties as local “first responder”.

  • Assists in incident investigations involving associates and customers by acquiring appropriate documentation to defend against or support claims.

  • Performs other duties as assigned or required.

  • Must be able to visually describe persons, vehicles, location or describe physical evidence by sketching, report writing and providing courtroom testimony when/if necessary.

  • Be able to effectively and accurately document enforcement or violations of policies in handwriting or computer-generated reports
