About this job
Assist photographers in the studio as well as location. Act as support for photographers, photography manager, and other photography staff. The ideal candidate should have aspirations to become a full time Photographer, using the time as a learning experience as well as support for Photographers.
Position Responsibilities and Qualifications:
Position Responsibilities and Qualifications:
- Should have a basic understanding of photography, Photoshop, various lighting systems, and Canon EOS cameras preferred.
- Must be in good physical condition and able to travel out of town for extended periods.
- Should be organized and detail oriented.
- Must have a fairly flexible schedule for location shoots.
- Help maintain equipment and clean studio as needed.
- Must be able to lift 60 lbs. at times.
- Help in the construction of sets, including painting and carpentry.
- Load and unload equipment vehicles for location shoots.
- Ensure that all studio vehicles are kept clean and organized.
- Must have a valid drivers license.
- Experience with lifestyle or fashion location assisting is strongly encouraged.
- A strong understanding of outdoor activities such as Hunting, fishing, boating, hiking, and camping, is a plus.
