Well known pharmacy advisory company located in the Stockton area is looking a Content Management Specialist -- someone well versed in Medical Data Entry/Medical Coding & Proofreading. This company offers a broad portfolio of unbiased, evidence-based, drug therapy recommendations and advisory services.

This is a temp-to-hire role supporting an established company with 30+ years of history in the field. They are a trust source of information for many major companies, such as Rite Aid, Kaiser Permanente, Walgreens, Costco, and Wal-Mart, to name a few. Overview:
The Content Specialist (Commercial Products) will be responsible for entering natural medicines commercial product (dietary supplements and other natural products) information into our Natural Medicines product. This person will have excellent attention to detail with the capability of performing the necessary job functions quickly and accurately.

The ideal candidate will be an internet and data entry expert, with the ability to "dig out" hard to find data while sometimes working with limited information. Must be able to think critically to apply scientific coding to content.

Medical, pharmacy, or healthcare background preferred, but not required.

Key Responsibilities


Quickly and accurately enter product data from labels into a data entry system.


Apply scientific coding to various parts of the label entry (training will be provided).


Use basic image editing skills to crop, rotate, or merge images as needed.


When requested, should be able to research and locate data on the internet, sometimes with limited information; must have the skills and follow through to locate hard to find data.


Use time-management and organizational skills to complete goals during a monthly production cycle.


While most tasks are completed independently, individual must be able to work well with co-workers on the team.



Ideal Background:


Associate's Degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.


Excellent attention to detail; speed and accuracy are paramount for this position.


Proficient in data entry systems, and Microsoft Word and Excel.


Strong problem-solving & decision-making skills.


Strong computer and internet skills.


Ability to type at least 50 wpm.


Strong written and verbal communication skills.


Self-motivated person with the ability to work independently and get things done.


Quick and interested learner with the ability to think critically.


Must be able to multi-task-and take on additional projects as time allows.


Passion for ensuring high quality content is in the product.
