Position Summary:Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
Â
Board certified registered technologist responsible for performing diagnostic radiology procedures under the direct supervision of the Section Chief of Diagnostic Radiology or Director of Radiology. These procedures are performed as ordered by the attending physician to the benefit of the patient.  Must maintain patient confidentiality. A positive attitude, the ability to react in emergency situations and the ability to learn new procedures quickly are all desirable attributes.

Position Qualifications:

1.      Licensure/Certification Requirements:Â
Â
¨       ARRT Registered
¨       Credentials must be kept current, so as not to expire during employment
¨       Must be personally responsible to obtain required hours (CEU credits) to maintain registry

2.      Education Requirements:
¨       Must have completed a two year accredited school of radiologic technology and be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
