Aerotek's client is seeking an Inside Call Center Account Representative for their Fairfax, VA operation.The incumbent of this role will be responsible for answering incoming calls with questions about billing, service, and available products, with the goal of up selling products at any opportunity. This role requires great attention to detail and a commitment to providing the best customer interactions at all times.

After completion of paid training your responsibilities will include:

  • Answer incoming calls from customers to resolve questions they may have regarding billing, services and available products. The incumbent will be responsible for up-selling existing customers!
  • Following up on leads from customers who have expressed interest in Vector Security alarm services.
  • Work with customers to address and resolve questions, issues and concerns with the goal of providing superior service.
  • Educate customers on recent technology changes and availability of new products and services.
  • Schedule service appointments utilizing software for selecting appropriate technician and documenting any travel required.
  • Attempt to troubleshoot problems prior to a service technician being scheduled.
  • Obtain referrals to assist in company growth.

Required Skills and/or Knowledge:

  • Prior experience in customer service or sales roles.
  • Strong attention to detail is required.
  • Desire and ability to create and maintain superior positive customer interactions.
  • Above average computer skills, including the ability to navigate between systems and type a minimum of 35 wpm with a high degree of accuracy while talking.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to interact in a professional and courteous manner with people at all levels.
