CNC Machinist (Prototype)

The Prototype CNC Machinist/Programmer will be based in San Francisco, CA. As a machinist on our Consumer Technologies ICE team you will be part of a small high-caliber team guiding hardware startups, as well as name brand product teams through early prototype explorations and small-to-mid volume manufacturing. We're looking for an energetic and passionate machinist to provide part machining and fabrication for a wide variety of consumer electronic devices and programs.

The Job Responsibilities Include:

• Work with engineering and customer teams to highlight part challenges and opportunities.
• Machine parts with our Haas UMC 750 5 axis machining center
• Create CAM programs with Autodesk HSMworks. (Mastercam may be available by request)
• Estimate machining and programming times for new part requests
• Ensure the CNC machine is well maintained, and tooling is organized

The Job Requirements are:

• 5+ years CNC machining experience, or equivalent education
• 2+ years programming experience, or equivalent education
• Ability to work 40 hours per week with occasional overtime
