Aerotek is now hiring a 2nd shift production worker to help with quality inspection for a great company in Peosta, IA!
This candidate will be grabbing sample parts to compare it with the parts being made. They will make a visual judgment on if the parts are accurate to the samples. After they have mastered that area they will be expected to go up to different machines and do quality checks depending on how many were produced. Each product being made had a different expectation of when it needs to be checked. They will be reading different gauges and instructions to see if quality is to the right standard. They will have to write the results on the documentation papers for the operators. If quality is not right then the machine will be shut down and things will be evaluated to fix the problem. This candidate needs to be okay that if/when things get slow they will be expected to pick up a broom and sweep the floors, sort parts, etc. They need to be a team player and be willing to help in any area possible. There is room for growth within the company.
Qualifications:
-6+ months mfg/production experience
-Basic Math
-Ability to use a computer in word and excel
-Ability to lift 50lbs
-GED/HS Diploma
