At Kmart, we aspire to provide our Shop Your Way (SYW) Members with excellent products and services that improve their quality of life. As a SYW Concierge (Inside Sales Associate) you will be responsible for providing the highest level of customer service, exceeding the expectations of our valued Members everyday! By building solid relationships both passively and proactively, you will influence our Members to turn to Kmart for all of their shopping needs. The SYW Concierge will also be the resident expert on all matters SYW, understanding the complexities of the program and being able to communicate it effectively to all of our shoppers!

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Have a happy, helpful, and here for you attitude for all interactions with fellow associates and Members
  • Works with Kmart customers and Members to download all SYW apps, with a strong focus on SYW Relay and SYW Personal Shopper, Credit and Leasing; in order to meet daily download goals
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction against competing priorities
  • Build a book of business inclusive of our top Members and initiate ongoing communications to understand their wants and needs
  • Identify and build business relationships with local businesses to drive additional sales to the store
  • Continually seek to convert our valued Members into the Personal Shopper program to increase spend with Kmart and Sears
  • Meet or exceed Member weekly sales objectives
  • Interacts with Members (customers) in a professional and courteous manner
  • Execute SYW initiatives and priorities in store as needed and keeps store leadership and Associates aware of all SYW Initiatives and promotions
  • Performs other duties as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3-4 years of related experience
  • Valid Driver License for the State of employment
  • Up to 25% travel
  • 18 years of age or older
REQUIRED SKILLS:
  • Prior Sales and Customer Service experience required
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to travel for training and events is required
  • Associate regularly using personal cars more than 12 times each year for company business must maintain minimum auto liability
  • coverage of: $100,000 per person, $300,000 per accident for bodily injury and $50,000 for property damage
  • Vehicle to complete out of store shopping

PREFERRED SKILLS:
  • Knowledge of store merchandising and operations practices and procedures
  • Outgoing personality, experience and comfort with public speaking and event planning
  • Embraces change

  • Experience in outbound selling
  • Bilingual (Spanish)
