Dayton, OH respected manufacturer is seeking experienced CNC/EDM Machinists to fill several full time positions, 2nd and 3rd shifts, Mon - Fri.

          Up to $18.00 to start, depending upon verifiable experience.

         Some OT may be required.

         Temp-to-perm.

         Benefits package upon permanent placement.

Duties include:

         Setup and operate CNC machines to perform various machine functions (ie., cut, lathe, mill, and bore metallic and nonmetallic work pieces).

         Read and interpret blueprints, planning sheets, sketches and related technical data to determine tooling requirements and setup procedures.

         Mount, align and secure tooling, attachments and work piece on machines.

         Load control media (tape, card or disk) in machine controller, enters relevant commands.

         Calculates and sets machine controls to regulate factors such as cutting depth, speed, feed and coolant flow.

         Clean machine, tooling and parts.  Perform machine maintenance.

Requirements include:

         High school diploma or GED with vocational certificate.

         EDM machine experience.

         Good verbal and written communication skills.

         Proficient in math, geometry and trigonometry a plus.

         Minimum 5 years experience relating to CNC machining.

         Prescreen testing required.

         Able to stand for long periods; lift and carry up to 40 pounds.

         Demonstrate willingness to accept personal responsibility and be a self-motivated team member.
