Blood Systems is now hiring a Donor Recruitment Supervisor in San Francisco, CA. Under general direction, the incumbent is responsible for supervising Donor Recruitment, Telerecruitment and/or assigned staff in order to achieve annual and monthly goals through effective donor recruitment. This position may maintain an individual territory and/or have direct responsibility for one or more functional areas within the department. A relevant bachelor’s degree or experience in a related field is required. Responsibilities of a Donor Recruitment Supervisor include: * Assures quality customer service to all customers. * Hires, supervises, trains, and evaluates performance of assigned personnel.  Identifies and effectively resolves personnel issues. * Assists in staff development to increase productivity through routine direct observation of assigned personnel performing job duties in the field and/or office.  * Assists with departmental and/or team territory alignment and goal setting. *Manages computer based recruitment and data management programs. * Manages key accounts, special events, promotions, and other projects as assigned. * Monitors center resource allocation and adherence to center scheduling guidelines through calendar management. * Develops an annual recruitment plan for meeting assigned collection goals. Prepare, assess and respond to monthly forecast information. * Assures assigned staff follows established sales/recruitment process (including projection accuracy) and maintains accurate and timely account information. * Develops programs to support the conversion of donors to automated and other new collection technologies to optimize the donation opportunity. * Builds relationships with internal staff and external departments (particularly Collections) to maintain joint goals and objectives. Develops and maintains effective relationships with key customers. * Communicates effectively to coordinate blood drives and in-center activities.   Represents the Company through personal contacts, public speaking engagements and educational presentations. *Oversees the development of new donor sources.
