Store Set-up Contract Manager - Full-time / Part-time

Retail Staffing Source, is partnering with Contract Merchandisers throughout the United States. We work with Independent Merchandisers to match them with retail projects that require your unique skill set.  Our contractors work with onsite project managers to complete remodels and new store set-up for leading national retailers.  Projects offered include, fixture assembly, display installation, stocking shelves and working with other merchandisers to provide a great experience for our customers and other team members.

Working as an Independent Merchandiser with us offers:

• Payment upon completion of assignment/project deposited directly to your PayPal Account
• Set assignment/project rate allows our contractors to be paid full amount if they finish ahead of schedule
• Projects may be located anywhere within the United Sates
• Any required hotel accommodations are prepaid by the client company

Retail Contract Merchandisers are required to meet the following:

• 1 year of experience in retail merchandising or setting up new or remodeled retail stores
• Able to read and follow retailer provided planograms
• Must be over 18 years of age
• Available to work Sunday – Friday for up to 4 consecutive 12-hour work days
• Must be willing to travel up to five nights per week and share accommodations with other contractors of same gender when traveling with a team
• Have valid Government issued identification and reliable transportation with the ability to commute between locations
• Must be physically able to stand for up to 12 hours, lift up to 50 lbs, reach, bend, sit and walk
• Must be able to professionally interact with managers and customers as needed throughout a project
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.

Retail Contract Merchandisers are responsible for:

• Stocking products onto shelves following the provided Planograms/schematics
• Unloading and loading gondola fixtures on and off a trailer
• Moving some gondola sections with provided equipment
• Assembling and installation of new fixtures
• Putting up point of purchase materials
