Cost Accountant - Very Reputable Company!!

Must Have:
Bachelor Degree in Finance or Accounting
2+ years of Accounting Experience
Manufacturing experience or background

Prepare and analyze financial statements and metrics to management including explanations and deviations between budget and prior year for both domestic and foreign operations.
Properly be able to adjust their priorities on what has the highest sense of Urgency.
Performs cost rolls on a quarterly basis for the domestic operations and analyze data for accuracy.
Prepare cost estimates for new products and revision requests.
Provide analysis on variance accounts and work with Operations to create corrective action plans.
Post cost accounting transactions and resolve issues.
Computes and prepares journal entries, month end accruals, account reconciliations and schedules.
Assists in monthly close procedures.
Ensures work is in compliance with GAAP standards, the Kemin Worldwide Accounting Manual and the Fiduciary Manual.
Engage in continuous improvement projects within the finance and operations departments.
Assist in the development and implementation of the annual budget and provide supporting documentation for account analysis.
Ad hoc analysis and other requests from management.
