Sales Associate/Fast food server - Full-time / Part-time

The sales associate at Nathan’s Famous is critical in helping customers making decisions as to what order, as well as QUICKLY move the line. The sales associate may be the only person the customer interacts with therefore the sales associate’s friendliness, and eagerness to treat the customer as if they were the only one is important and reflects on the entire company.

The customer’s first impression of the Nathan’s Famous operations is what they think of the sales associate.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Knowledgeable of all menu items such as value meals, kids meals etc.
• Properly use “ALL STAR” sales method and “3 STEPS OF SERVICE POLICY” cashiering.
• Familiarities with POS machines, able to take food orders, make change, and ring up Banner Specials and Coupons.
• Responsible for their own drawer. Get approval for bills over $20 and deal with counterfeit bills when in receipt of them.
• Comfortable assembling food/drinks package french fries, hot dogs and other items and serve them. Knowledge of food health and hygiene regulations.

Qualifications: 

• Energetic and able to move in fast paces environment.
• Able to work in high volume environment
• Have excellent customer service skills. Must be honest, friendly, with an outgoing personality.
• Multi task.
• Ability to prioritize.
• Must have basic math skills; speak and read English clearly
• Must be able to work all holidays

Physical Requirements: 

• Able to stand for long periods of time;
• Always cleaning, never leaning.
• Energetic and able to move in hot/fast paced environment.
