Keystone Resort Property Management is the premier property management company in Keystone Resort, providing comprehensive management services to individual homeowners and their vacation home properties, as well as homeowner associations.  The Housekeeiping Training Supervisor is a key piece to the success of our management programs, with both guests and homeowners alike!  The Training Supervisor will lead efforts in onboarding, training and coaching our front line housekeeping positions to meet and exceed our stadards and guest/owner expectations.  With 1,000 individually managed condominiums, this leader sets the stage for success with a large team and has a significant impact upon the overall guest experience.

 

Essential Job Functions:

 

  • Review, modify, create and impliment new department initiatives and training, both on a strict schedule leading up onboarding periods, but also adhoc as needed.
  • Lead and suppor the onboarding and training of new staff, including running orientation.
  • Train a team of trainers, who will be your feet on the ground and support in training to quality standards.
  • Forge close relationships and strong parthership with executive housekeeping management team to collaborate successes and challenges.
  • Perform continuous visual inspections of condominiums to ensure cleaning and maintenance standards are met in the field.
  • Monitor attendance of housekeeping employees at training classes, as well as productivity ramp up through their training period.  Communicate with managers regarding observations and follow up, and work together to implement any necessary improvement plans.
  • Create content and regularly attend and participate in the department's various pre-shift meetings.
  • Foster the department's safety culture through training, enforcing company guidelines and accountability.
  • Review, maintain and update the departments training guidelines and materials.
  • Celebrate successes and publicly recognizes the contributions of team members.

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 year in housekeeping operations.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a supervisory position, peferably in a hospitality setting.
  • Proven experience in, and passion for, high quality service, solving complex challenges and working with a multitude of personalities to accomplish goals.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency, especially Excel and Outlook
  • Knowledge of LMS and PeopleSoft - preferred
  • English - required, Spanish - strongly preferred
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
  • Exemplary verbal and written communication skills in English.  Ability to read, comprehend and write complex correspondence and effectively communicate with front line and internal stakeholders with diplomacy and tact.  Again, Spanish bi-lingual strongly preferred.
  • Able to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Flexible schedule including weekends, nights and holidays
