PHCS is a supplemental health care staffing agency.  Our customers include health care facilities, industry, and government.  We provide RN, LPN, CNA, and CBRF agency pool health care staffing, as well as, contracted health care staffing.  We have been providing high quality health care staffing services for 26 years. DESCRIPTION: This Certified Nursing Assistant provides routine nursing services in caring for patients in subacute, convalescence, and chronic care settings under the supervision of a registered nurse or medical doctor.

REPORTING STRUCTURE: The Certified Nursing Assistant reports to Professional Health Care Services, Inc. (PHCS) and when on a staffing assignment, to the designated supervising nurse.

FUNCTIONS: The scope of functions covers patients care as assigned and supervised by a registered nurse and/or medical doctor.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND MINIMUM REQUIRMENTS:

- Has at least 1 year experience working in a hospital or nursing home setting - Currently certified in the State of Wisconsin - Currently certified in CPR - Also having CBRF certification a plus, but not required - Carries through assignments - Is very reliable, and after accepting an assignment, follows through without cancelling. - Has current drivers license and a reliable vehicle (you need to be able to travel to different health care facilities in the Milwaukee area) - Has current negative TB skin test (within the last 12 months) - Current Flu Shot for the current Flu season - Can learn new procedures as required - Communicates with results
