Medical Technologist - nights - Full-time / Part-time

Qualifications:
1)MT/MLT Bachelors or Associates degree
2) ASCP national certification required
3) General med tech background (1+) - familiar with chemistry, hematology, microbiology, blood banking
4) Phlebotomy experience is preferred, but not required

JOB DESCRIPTION
Medical Technician will:
* Perform various complex clinical laboratory tests in the chemistry, hematology and microbiology departments
* Perform basic tests, solve problems and correlate laboratory findings with clinical significance.
* Perform 5-10 phlebotomy sticks per shift and act as point of contact during overnights
* Properly store samples and maintain documentation and records.
* Work requires a professional level of knowledge in order to read and interpret test results, especially those which are abnormal or atypical.
* Responsibilities include calibrating instruments, reporting test results, conducting quality controls, etc.

SHIFT AVAILABLE: NIGHTS 11pm-7am Monday through Friday with occasional weekend work. No OT
