The Opportunity

Attend to guests’ needs on the overnight shift including, but not limited to registration, checkout, cashiering; reconcile and post daily revenue activity.

Position Details

Must be available for Holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile and complete all daily front desk agents’ work.
• Run find trial balance to post rooms and close day.
• Run accounts receivable reports.
• Provide next day reports for Front Office, Housekeeping, Sales, and Executive Office as required.
• Perform duties of front desk agent as assigned.
• Answer calls incoming to hotel and hotel guests.
• Assist guests with calls and messages. 
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year prior experience in guest service capacity preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year cash handling experience utilizing computerized point of sale system required.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 1-3 years related experience and/or training
• Previous experience with Microsoft Office, e-mail and other computer systems required.

 Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Attentive and detailed oriented.
• Ability to maintain a high energy level in a fast paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. 
• Capable of performing specified procedures and following instructions.
• Effective communication skills; ability to communicate with guests and co-workers.
• Basic math skills; ability to accurately handle cash and process sales transactions.
