The Washington Tractor Parts Counter Shipping and Receiving role is at the heart of our Aftermarket Division. The Parts Counter Salesperson plays a significant role in driving profitability through excellent customer service, stocking duties related to the receiving, sale, and delivery of parts and accessories that contribute to the efficient and profitable operation of the dealership.

The opening at our Sumner location is a seasonal role working full-time during our busy season.

Job Requirements
Responsibilities:

- Place machine down and stock ordered parts in assigned locations in a timely manner.
- Assists the Parts Manager with merchandising displays by delivering showroom inventory.
- Verifies receiving and receipting-in of parts shipments.
- Verifies correct pricing of parts receipted into the business system.
- Monitors shortages and expedites processing through reporting to Parts Manager.
- Assists in keeping parts department clean and orderly.
- May supply technicians with parts as required.
- Operates Equipment including forklifts to load and unload freight shipments.
- Utilizes bar code scanners and other equipment to verify the receipt of incoming, outgoing shipments, and maintaining inventory integrity.
- Processes incoming and outgoing transfers for Washington Tractor locations.
- Processes shortages and returns to vendors including surplus returns.
- Creates a positive work environment.
- Responsible to achieve job specific metrics and sales volume.
- Ability to work alternative work schedules which could include weekends.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:

- High School diploma or equivalent experience.

- 1 year of job relevant works experience.

- Basic data entry/keyboarding skills.

- Ability to work in a team environment.

- Valid driver license is required.

- Beginning to intermediate computer skills and ability to utilize all Washington Tractor systems with proficiency.

- Ability to maintain a company insurable driving record.

- Fork lift license preferred.

Additional Information
Work Environment:
- Generally indoor work environment with variable conditions.

Physical demands:

- Frequently stand, stoop, bend, and kneel.
- Ability to lift up-to 20 pounds unassisted and 75 pounds assisted.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time while assisting customer needs.
- Ability to operate a forklift for loading and unloading rental equipment.
