This position will support the Director of Revenue Management and Group Sales Managers, to service the rooms portion of any group booking at the hotel, including rooming lists and substantial follow up with clients / customers.Job Responsibilities:

  • Communicating with Conference Services / Sales Managers and clients to ensure client satisfaction
  • Communicating with Front Desk and other hotel departments on special requirements of arriving groups
  • Enter daily, weekly and monthly data information in appropriate systems
  • Entering and auditing room lists
  • Assisting with in-house reservation calls
  • Maintaining files on group reservations, including “owning” rooms-only groups after contract has been signed
  • Maintain tracking of group pickup and report appropriately
  • Manage group VIPs and special requests
  • Attend appropriate in-house meetings to facilitate the communication of information to all departments
  • Process travel agent commissions, no-shows

Job Requirements:

  • Prior hotel experience required, especially reservation systems experience
  • Proficient computer experience, especially MS Word and Excel
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage and work with outside groups and agencies
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple groups at one time
  • Excellent phone presence
  • Knowledge of ISAC, Galaxy, Lightspeed
