SUMMARY: Provides advanced clerical and computer support to Sr. Directors and/or Directors.

* Positions available for Creative Studio, Facilities, and Engineering departments. Experience in a Design firm/office desired for the Creative Studio. Construction administrative experience highly desired for the Facilities opening.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Initiate and follow-up on action items for new and/or routine projects, processes, and/or policies. Coordinates with other departments and/or external sources.

* Generate department correspondence and/or reports. Uses appropriate computer programs to analyze, compile, update and maintain department correspondence and/or reports. Disseminates data/information to the appropriate parties. Prepares expense reports. May create presentations and/or corresponding materials.

* Screen/prioritize/direct incoming calls and email/correspondence taking appropriate actions as necessary. Greets visitors to the department and directs to appropriate party.

* May maintain executive(s)' and corresponding department's calendars, coordinate meetings, and/or set appointments. Makes travel and/or training arrangements when necessary.

* Provide clerical support, direction, guidance, and/or training to department. Serves as a liaison with other departments in acquiring and maintaining technology, supplies and other logistical needs through standard UO procedures.

* Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established Universal Orlando policy, procedures, training and Team Member involvement activities.

* Perform other duties as assigned.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities

* LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers/clients, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.

* MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to interpret spreadsheets and bar graphs.

* REASONING ABILITY: Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Consistent attendance is a job requirement.

EDUCATION:

* High school degree or GED is required.

* Bachelor's degree is preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

* Two to five years of administrative assistant experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

* Proficiency in MS Word and Excel required.

* Proficiency in MS PowerPoint and Outlook preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of this job, the individual is required to:

* Regularly (2/3 of the time or more) sit for prolonged periods of time, talk, use hands and finger to grip, pinch, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; repetitive use of an input device- a keyboard or mouse in a steady manner; and close vision with or without corrective lens (clear vision at 20 inches or less).

* Occasionally (1/3 of the time or less) stand for prolonged periods; walk for prolonged periods (including ability to walk at a given pace that is predetermined by a moving sidewalk); hear audible alarms, voice commands with backgrounds noise, stop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, reach, pull, push with hands and arms above/below head; lift/push up to 10 pounds with control; use distance vision with or without corrective lens; use color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors); maintain concentrations/focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

While performing the duties of this job, the individual is required to:

* Occasionally (1/3 of the time or less) work in outdoor weather conditions to include direct sunlight, heat, or cold; use a motorized company vehicle or personal vehicle for company business and will require a Valid Florida's Driver's license.
