The Sterling Hotel & Suites is looking for friendly, authentic and service-driven individuals to care for our valued Guests at our hotel, featuring 112 studios and two-level penthouse suites.  We want them – and you – to feel like this is your home away from home!

Needing individuals with a Hospitality Heart to provide excellent customer service.  Responsibilities included but not limited to:

  • Cleans hotel according to standards and within required timeframes
  • Greets guests in a warm, friendly manner
  • Ensures key control and security policies to maintain guest privacy and security of personal belongings
  • Communicates with maintenance department regarding room needs
  • Communicates with Executive Housekeeper regarding supply needs, including but not limited to room supplies, cleaning supplies and linen
  • Follows proper safety procedures at all times to avoid injuries

Best fit for this position are those individuals who are friendly, outgoing, engaging and enjoy working with people.  Previous related experience is preferred.  Competitive wages, full-time benefits and potential advancement opportunities available.  Must be able to work weekends.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:  No specific knowledge, education or training required to accomplish the essential functions of this job.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read some two- and three syllable words and to recognize similarities/differences between words and numbers. Ability to print and/or to speak simple sentences.
 
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to read, write and recognize numbers, comprehend signs and symbols.
 
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple instructions.
