OverviewIf you have a passion and desire to enrich the lives and touch the hearts of older adults, consider joining our team in providing compassionate and high quality care and services within a caring Christian culture.OPTAGE Home Care, serving Waukesha County is seeking on call or part time Nursing Assistants/Caregivers (CNA) to join our Optage Home Care team.　 As an Optage caregiver, you will travel to your client's home (requires a current drivers license, motor vehicle review, car in good working condition and proof of liability insurance) to provide one-on-one care for them. These are traveling positions, providing care for clients in the community, in their homes, assisted or apartment units. We offer flexible scheduling, reimbursement for mileage, and paid travel time from client to client. Nursing Assistant training is required, but candidates do not have to be active on the WI Nursing Aide Registry in order to qualify.　These positions may include working on weekends and scheduled holidays.We offer competitive wages and take your past experience into consideration for your starting wage.EOE/AAResponsibilitiesThe Nursing Assistant (Resident Assistant) is responsible for the provision of high quality personal care and services to residents to support the Personally Designed Living choices of residents, while maintaining consistency with regulations and established best practices.Qualifications* Successful completion of a state approved nursing assistant training program and current certification in state(s) in which he/she practices OR successful completion of a home health aide instruction course and successful completion of home health aide competency testing to work in Home Care.* Demonstrated competencies in person-directed, elder/resident-directed practice, home building, critical thinking, teamwork, self leadership, and interpersonal effectiveness.* Demonstrated compatibility with the PHS mission and operating philosophies.* Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.Options
