Equipment Inspection Specialist, Direct Hire

LOCATION: SW Washington

SALARY: $18-25.00/hour DOE

JOB DESCRIPTION: A heavy equipment rental and sales company seeks an Equipment Inspection Specialist to join their team! If you have a strong background in operation, inspection and overall mechanics of heavy equipment and a history of safe work habits, we want to hear from you! The Specialist will utilize skills built in working with a variety of aerial and earth moving equipment to identify defects of equipment. Preference will be given to those with experience in diesel, hydraulic and electrical diagnosis. Additional duties may include reviewing safety operations of equipment with customers. Hours for this position are full time Monday-Friday, overtime will be required.

QUALIFICATIONS: The ideal candidate for the position will meet the following qualifications:

- Three to five years of experience working with heavy construction equipment.

- High school diploma or equivalent required.

- Ability to work with limited supervision in a fast paced environment.

- Exceptional attention to detail.

- Strong customer service and communication skills.

- Ability to work at heights over ten feet, climb over and into equipment, and stand on hard or uneven surfaces for 4-6 hours a day.

- Strong computer proficiency required.

- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods of time.

- Must have a valid driver's license, proof of insurance and a clean driving record.

- Must be able to successfully pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
