The Role

The Sales Development Representative is primarily responsible for selling the Digital Pharmacist platform to new independent pharmacy owners. Sales Development Representatives are responsible for handling the entire sales cycle with each new customer, from lead prospecting to deal closure. Successful candidates are comfortable with setting up product demonstrations, using screen-share technology, cold-calling, closing new business working a high velocity deal cycle and managing pipelines of over 150 prospects at a time. Additionally, successful Sales Development Representatives are self-motivated, ambitious, students of sales, and embody core values of integrity, accountability and honesty. This role is based in our Newark, NJ office.

What you will do everyday:

  • Generating new sales leads
  • Identifying and closing existing sales leads
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the company’s product offerings
  • Planning, preparation and attending industry shows and other events
  • Manage reports for sales activity, lead closings and existing pipeline
  • Coordinate and support various marketing fulfillment activities
  • Working on the management of key clients, helping to identify and resolve their concerns

Requirements

  • BS/BA Degree or equivalent
  • Highly motivated and target driven
  • Proven work experience in all aspects of sales process
  • Excellent selling, strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong relationship management and account retention skills
  • Can multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to work independently with limited direction
  • Action oriented and not afraid to make a mistake
  • Excellent knowledge of using MS Office and sales support tools (CRM practices, ability to create and deliver presentation, prepare quotes, proposals and sales contracts, etc.)
