Warehouse Production Associate

 Warehouse Production Team Member Scope

The purpose of the warehouse production team member is to take all necessary steps to process warehouse inventory accurately and efficiently by utilizing The Book Table's specialized software.

We are currently hiring for 
1st Shift: 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., Monday - Friday

We are looking for full-time warehouse production team members to join our quickly-growing company on the East side of Indianapolis.

Warehouse Production Team Member Qualifications Required

• Effective communication/comprehension skills
• Proficiency with a PC and above average computer knowledge
• Ability to consistently lift materials up to 50 lbs.
• Effective match skills; ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
• Knowledge of Amazon's prepartion systems protocols
• Knowledge of Amazon's processing systems protocols
• Problem solving abilities
• Knowledge of company software and other organizational tools
• Quality listening skills and ability to follow directions
• Productivity and positive work ethic
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Warehouse Production Team Member Job Duties:

• Learn all of Amazon's packing and preparation specifications
• Prepare orders for shipment in accordance with Amazon's requirements
• Problem solve/learning application: Apply Amazon specifications knowledge when presented with problem inventory
• Identify products that need additional preparation in accordance with Amazon requirements
• Maintain database accuracy by updating BT Scanner with necessary preparations, accurate Case Pack quantities, and UPCs.
• Inspect products for damages, loss, or defects. Notify Supervisor of findings.
• Maintain safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations neat. Maintain clean shipping supply area.
• Comply with procedures, rules, and regulations set forth in The Book Table Employee Handbook
• Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders; pack boxes, stack pallets, placing products in correct delivery areas
• Maintain quality service by following organizational standards in relation to shipping carts, delivery areas, prep carts, etc.
• Utilize teamwork!
