Chapel Hills, located just west of Atlanta in Douglasville, Georgia, has been delighting Canongate members and guests ever since it opened in 1992. Clustered with another member favorite, Mirror Lake, the Chapel Hills cluster is one of the most popular in our Atlanta collection of championship golf courses. Chapel Hills was a difficult course to design, as course designers Rocky Roquemore and Jeff Burton were required to navigate through steep hills and numerous granite outcroppings, so typical in the state of Georgia.

Job Description
The position of lifeguard is there to provide Members and Guests with a safe and enjoyable aquatic environment.
Responsibilities include:
- To provide a clean, well-maintained and safe aquatic environment in compliance with both club and public health department standards.
- To connect Members to other Members through ongoing contact with the Members and promotion of club activities.
- To properly maintain and monitor the pool environment so it meets all required local health codes and Member needs. This would include monitoring and balancing water chemistry, monitoring and maintaining pool temperature and monitoring and maintaining the cleanliness of the pool.
- To maintain a clean and safe pool environment through proper cleaning and preventative maintenance of aquatic equipment, filter room equipment, heaters and pool surfaces.
- To administer aquatic services as set forth by the club, including teaching swim lessons, supervising group swim activities and helping with other aquatic program activities. ed
Job Requirements
Minimum of three months’ work experience as a lifeguard.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
CPR Certification Required.
Local candidates only as this position does not offer relocation.
Part-time seasonal position for Summer only.
Must have flexible hours.
