Mathematica Policy Research, a nationally recognized social policy research company, is currently working with The Evaluation Demonstration to End Childhood Hunger EDECH.
 
In the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010, Congress called for the development and evaluation of innovative strategies to “reduce the risk of childhood hunger or provide a significant improvement to the food security status of households with children,” including alternative models of service delivery or benefit levels. The evaluation of each demonstration project will be comprehensive. Mathematica Policy Research will administer baseline and follow-up household surveys both on the phone and in the field. This position is for the follow-up survey conducted 12 months after the baseline survey.

This is where we need your help! Staff is needed to find hard to reach study sample members enrolled in the program in the Richmond, VA area.  Once located, the Field Locator will encourage the sample member to complete a survey over the phone. You should live within a 50 mile radius of Richmond, VA. 

Training and project work will begin in early April 2017.

All staff will work as employees of Headway Workforce Solutions on behalf of Mathematica Policy Research.

We offer:

  • Flexible work schedule (an average of 30 hours of work every week for approximately 4 weeks.)
  • Must be willing to work some evenings and weekends
  • Pay rate dependent on experience and location

  • Paid telephone/web based training in early April

Interested candidates should:

  • Be resourceful, dependable, possess excellent communication skills
  • Be able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Be willing to drive long distances (specifically in rural areas)
  • Be willing to undergo a low level security clearance
  • Experience is preferred, but not necessary
  • Organized, detailed oriented
  • Ability to speak Spanish is a plus!
  • For Oklahoma locations – experience working on reservations is a plus!
