Laundry Worker
Department: HOUSEKEEPING
To efficiently perform the duties of the Laundry Worker In accordance with the policies and procedures established by the hotel
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate washers and dryers according to recommendations of manufacturer.
- Make sure chemicals are going into washer properly.
- Fold and store linen and help to count linen for inventory.
- Report any malfunctioning of equipment to supervisor.
- Reports damaged or stained linen and complies with safety regulations and always try to avoid accidents. Keepwashers clean, wipe down and empty lint screens in dryers.
- Must maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times in accordance with hotel Standards of grooming and Standards of Conduct.
- Vacuum/sweep and mop laundry are before you leave for the day.
- Perform any duty requested of you by your supervisor and assist in any other department/ task that may ask for his/her assistance.
- Must always make guest satisfaction a priority within the guidelines of the Crowne Plaza
- Reading Hotel Guest Satisfaction System. Be willing to assist in any other department/task that may ask for his/her assistance.
