About this job
Looking for a full time assistant for a laboratory located in Baltimore, MD. Assistants are required to log specimens from hospitals and doctors offices in to a computer data base and also assist the lab technician with various tasks. May also be required to manually label specimen containers. Must be extremely detail oriented and possess good clerical skills. Proof of TB test and all vaccinations are required. Must be able to type 35wpm. Medical education background is helpful but not mandatory. The hours for this position are Monday through Friday 4PM to midnight.
Requirements:
- TB test in the past year
- Proof of vaccinations for measles, mumps, rubeola, and varicella
- Update flu shot
- Ability to pass drug screen
- Clean criminal background
- Reliable transportation
