Cargill Value Added Protein is a leading marketer of high value, further-processed egg products, ground beef, and poultry products in the US and Canada. This position is a key part of the maintenance department. The job duties include:

* Perform all work in compliance with all EH&S standards and company procedures/policies

* Machinery Health (Vibration) Specialist will be responsible for on-going maintenance using route-based vibration analysis services

* Install remote and on-line monitoring systems.

* Lubrication oil sampling and analysis of laboratory test results

* Formal report development including making presentation of findings to maintenance leadership

* Will require weekend work 1-2 days per month

* Attend occasional training to stay current in predictive technologies

Required:

* Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship

* Must be 18 years or older

* 1 to 3 years Industrial Maintenance experience with typical plant and building equipment such as compressors, fans, speed increasers and gear reducers

* Ability to read, write, and speak English

Preferred:

* 1 to 3 years Industrial Reliability Experience

* Experience using diagnostic measurement techniques and associated applications of each

* Experience with Vibrational analysis, IR scanning, and Ultrasound

* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows Programs

* Ability to read and comprehend manuals and SOP's

* Ability to diagnose and make final recommendations for a wide range of vibration related fault conditions to include: Electric motors, Gearboxes, Journal bearing, Pumps, fans and compressors, Rolling element bearing faults

* Understands data collector options and test capabilities

* Willingness to adapt to new technologies and how they can be applied to our service offerings and deliverables

* Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, and general public

* Working Knowledge and understanding of Cargill reliability systems

* Experience taking and analyzing data from reliability technologies

* Experience with finding trends and making recommendations
