Nurse Practitioner - Flowers Medical Group - FT - Variable Hours
Family Medicine Dothan
Under general supervision, and according to general policies and standardized procedures, the Nurse Practitioner works collaboratively with other clinical and medical professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients. The Nurse Practitioner focuses on patient and family education and assists patients and their families in their efforts toward recovery and rehabilitation. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. May lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Education:
Must have graduated from an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner training program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
Experience:
Preferred minimum of one year experience in an Urgent Care Center, Physician Office, or Hospital.
Licenses/Certifications:
Certification by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners within one year completion of the degree.
Must maintain current BLS certification
Must maintain current ACLS certification.
