About this job

The Director of Operations has responsibility for directing the daily operations of a quick service restaurant, ensuring compliance with company standards in all areas of operations, including production, preparation, customer relations, restaurant maintenance and repair, inventory management, team management, recruiting, financial accountability, ensuring the highest quality products and services are delivered to our customers and other duties as required. The person applying for this position must have excellent communication skills. Previous management experience is a must. You must be a minimum age of 21+ years old for this job.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Member of the senior leadership team
  • Overseeing and leading the specific and general duties, in relation to operating the restaurant
  • Provide and serve as an example of 2nd Mile Service
  • Continuously improve and ensure Operational Excellence
  • Responsible for maintaining strict adherence to Food Safety and Catering procedures
  • Coaching team members in proper procedures and customer relations
  • Ensure everyone is displaying a professional attitude at all times

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Specific Experience:

  • Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Required: Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Required: Experience as a leader in the customer service industry

  • Able to lift 40 - 60 pounds on a consist basis

Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in a business or hotel/restaurant management
  • This is a full time position.
  • This person must have experience in teaching and a passion for excellence in training.
  • This person must be skilled in time management.
  • This person must be self-directed and highly organized.
  • This person must have basic computer skills.
  • This person must master all knowledge and skills of every position in the Restaurant.
