We have a part-time opening for a Registered Nurse.

Must be able to work various shifts per week.

 

Requirements

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Initiate or review Care Plans for all clients receiving Personal Care (ADL’s) as requested by the Administrator.  Conduct Starts of Service, Create Client Care Plans, Review and sign Service Agreement, and all other client start of service forms with new clients.
  • Sits down with scheduling department and communicates needs of the client to match with an appropriate caregiver.  Make recommendations as requested about client care or caregiving staff.
  • Meet as requested with caregiver staff for inservice to improve delivery of service.  Monitor / Assess performance of caregivers, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action.
  • Conducts or causes to be conducted Client Quality Visits or calls every 30, 60 and 90 days of service in the patient’s home.  Then every 90 days thereafter for purposes of overseeing caregivers and personal care attendants as well as overseeing client care.
  • Make recommendations as needed about client care or caregiving staff to the administrator as resulted from the quality of visit calls.
  • Review changes in client conditions and update Care Plan as requested by the Administrator.
  • Meets with staff as necessary to improve delivery of service.
  • Review all incident reports / reports of Abuse or Neglect and advise Administrator of actions that need to be taken.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Graduated from accredited two or four-year college or university with degree in Nursing. 
  • Must be a licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Maryland with current licensure and in good standing.

Experience Qualifications:

  • Candidate must have minimum of two years’ experience in the delivery of primary patient care to include: implementation of care plan’s as well as discharge planning, chart review as well as understanding of the standard delivery of patient care.

Credentials Required:

  • Graduate of accredited School of Nursing with current Registered Nurse license to practice in the State of Maryland.
  • Must have Current BLS/CPR, Current First Aid Certification
  • Proof of Current TB Test
  • Proof of Automobile insurance
