Advance Housing, Inc. is a nonprofit agency located in Bergen, Passaic, and Sussex Counties that provides community support services to individuals suffering from mental illness.Currently we have full-time and part-time case management positions open in our Teterboro and Sparta offices.
Community Integration Counselor unhide
PURPOSE/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Full-time: 35 hours/week; part-time: specific to position
Participates in the development of treatment plans and assists consumer in following prescribed treatment plans
Oversees safety of consumers
Provides case management services to caseload
Establishes and maintains consumers' self-administration of prescribed medications per agency procedures
Performs other tasks as deemed necessary by supervisor
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education: BA/BS in Social Work, Psychology or related field
Experience: Mental Health/Human Services experience in a residential setting is desirable but not required unless needed to satisfy the educational requirement above.
Training: Must be available to participate in mandatory in-service training as required
License: Must possess a valid Driver's License
