HR Generalist will perform human resources related duties at the professional level and may carry out responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas: employee relations, training, employment, labor relations, and affirmative action and employment equity programs.
• Responsibilities:
• Partners with employees and management to communicate various human resource policies, procedures, laws, standards and government regulations.
• Conducts exit interviews, analyzes data and makes recommendations to the management team for corrective action and continuous improvements.
• Facilitates or provides compliance training (including orientation) to the workforce.
• Maintains and coordinates employee programs.
• Interviews, screens and recruits job applicants to fill entry-level and professional and technical job openings.
• Reviews applications and interviews applicants to match experience with specific job related requirements.
• EEOC and other Government Compliance requirements.
• Workers Comp process
• Applicant tracking system
• Maintains working relationship with field operations and adheres polies by monitoring day-to-day implementation of policies concerning wages, hours and working conditions.
• Conducts new hire orientations.
• Ability to take on new challenges and responsibilities as the needs a rises.


• Requirements:
• BACHELOR'S DEGREE and three to five (3-5) years Human Resources experience, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
• Proficient PC skills including: Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
• Strong attention to detail, follow-through and excellent organization skills
• Strong customer service orientation demonstrated flexibility and ability to work as a member of a team
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong sense of urgency, adaptability, flexibility and resourcefulness
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and come up with creative solutions/processes
Proven ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
• Ability to appropriately handle confidential and sensitive information.
• Proficient in Diplomacy skills, and tact.
