This is a part time support position in Resort Event Services. The services assistant will support the Event Services Managers with daily administrative and clerical duties, while also assisting in the daily operation of the office, including managing incoming phone calls and interacting with clients in person and on the phone.

* Demonstrated computer proficiency within a Windows environment

* Demonstrated strong organizational and time management skills

* Demonstrated strong proofreading skills

* Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, as well as telephone etiquette skills

* Demonstrated problem solving skills, as well as continuous improvement process skills

* Ability to be flexible with work schedule, including weekends and holidays

* High school degree or equivalent

* Handle basic client requests and answer questions on behalf of Event Services Managers both pre-arrival and on-site with regards to food & beverage, admissions, function space, general resort or park information, event venues, etc.

* Practice active listening when communicating with guests, meeting planners, managers, and fellow Cast Members to ensure that you are successfully meeting their needs.

* Create and maintain files on behalf of Event Services Manager while working in approved systems.

* Create and maintain accurate correspondence for the managers to include intro packets, welcome letters, final notices, pre-convention meeting invitations, thank you letters, room block guarantee and room block modification/attrition letter.

* Complete monthly expense reports for the managers.

* Keep accurate records and written documentation as outline by our company standards.
