Sodexo is seeking a Full-Time Registered Dietitian to come join the team at Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center, located in downtown Los Angeles, CA.
Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center is an acute care community hospital, with more than 500 physicians representing virtually every specialty. The dietitian will provide clinical services in ICUs and Medical / Surgical units.
The ideal candidate will:
* Be a registered dietitian with at least 1 year experience
* Work independently to provide inpatient nutrition care in a variety of patient units
* Have experience utilizing the nutrition care process and electronic medical records charting
* Accurately assess patient's nutritional status for inpatients identify nutritional risk, develop plan of care and evaluate outcomes
* Consult with physicians and other health care personnel to determine nutritional needs and diet restrictions
* Provide nutritional education to patients and their families, dietary plans and food selection
* Demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills
* Work well with a team and be able to work well with physicians, nursing, and ancillary staff and collaboratively as part of a team, as well as independently and be outcome focused
* Have good time management skills, be a self-starter

Provides comprehensive nutrition assessments and care planning for patients/residents. Plans special diets and supervises their preparation. Instructs patients/residents and/or hospital personnel in principles of nutrition and modifications of normal diet. Performs routine care responsibilities without training and direction.
Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree
Basic Functional Experience - 1 year work experience in health care including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term care, retirement homes, or clinics + registered dietitian.
