Effectively and efficiently manage a school cafeteria while adhering to the guidelines and policies of Four Seasons to ensure student, faculty and administration satisfaction, development of a high performance team, and maximizing profit. 

The manager will over see that the team (cook, kitchen helpers, dishwasher and cashiers) is working in accordance with the high level of standards and expectations of Four Seasons and the school.

The manager will oversee waste management and inventory control.  It is the responsibility of the manager to place all product orders, and make certain that the team is reporting directly to ensure necessary ingredients are on hand to adhere to the monthly menu as established by Four Seasons.

The manager will be responsible for the kitchen being left in a clean, sanitized, and orderly fashion in order to resume business on the next day.  The manager will make sure all stoves, fryers, ovens, and grills are turned off, and all closets, freezers, refrigerators, storage rooms, and offices are locked and lights are turned off.

The manager is the "Go To" person for the school officials when placing catering orders.  A precise calendar must be kept with careful attention to detail for all catering needs.  This individual will be in constant contact with corporate for any support and open lines of feedback and communication.  This position is for a "Can Do" individual who loves to multi-task.

Requirements

All employees of Four Seasons will be required to be a team players, and always demonstrate a pleasant and positive attitude to all in the work place.  Coworkers, school officials and students must always be addressed in a courteous and professional manner.  All employees serve as role models, and as such a neat and clean physical experience is important to the integrity and success of Four Seasons and the school.  The employee therefore agrees to  wear a staff shirt (provided by Four Seasons) or chef's jacket and chino or chef pants for the cook, and a non slip shoe.  Clothes must be clean and wrinkle free.  Nails need to be neat and clean.  Facial hair (beards and mustaches) must be clean, well groomed and close to the face.  A hair net or hat (provided by Four Seasons) must be worn at all times.  All employees are required to follow the rules set forth by the department of health and mental hygiene. Disposable gloves will be worn and changed as required by the health department.
